Bisaccia
The 2023 Bisaccia is a white wine blend. This blend is led by Trebbiano so you get some of those expected pear notes but with the addition of Albarino and Pinot Grigio, you get a brighter acidity and more citrus and tropical notes. You will get citrus, pear, green apple, rambuton along with an almond finish. Perfect for your next cookout.
Albariño
This Spanish varietal is known for is aromatic intensity. You will get plenty of pear, both Bartlett and Asian along with honeydew melons. Upon your first sip, you will discover a balanced, medium bodied wine with light acidity and a medium finished. The flavors have a few surprises as you taste the pear, you will also get a hint of bubble gum and early apricot.
Viognier
Bright and expressive, our 2023 Viognier captures the vibrant spirit and aromatic depth of the Texas High Plains. It opens with aromas of lemon meringue, Granny Smith apple, and a delicate hint of honeysuckle. On the palate, layers of Meyer lemon custard and ripe pear unfold with a smooth, rounded texture and a refreshing lift. The finish is clean and elegant, leaving behind a lingering impression of citrus and stone fruit.
Roussanne
This Roussanne was aged in stainless steel tanks for 4 months. The resulting bright, fresh wine has a straw color with medium acidity. You will get floral on the nose…think white gardenia in early spring. Your first sip will deliver early season fresh fruits such as golden delicious apple, white peach, apricot, candied lemon zest, and a hint of lime on the finish.
Picpoul
This traditional French varietal has made its home in Texas! With bright acidity and refreshing flavors this is a perfect wine for summer. On the nose you will get pear and honey and the pallet delivers an array of lemon, citrus and green apple jolly rancher.
Pinot Grigio
Your perfect light refreshing wine has arrived! This Pinot Grigio is a light bodied, easy drinking wine. It's pale lemon color hints at the summer notes that will unfold as you take your first sips. Your palate will discover a wine that has good minerality, limestone, honeydew, pear, and a slight lemon zest.
Vega Rosé
This Malbec sparkling wine was done with "méthode traditionelle" and is named for the brightest star in the sky the night Michael Ros Winery opened our doors. Meet Vega Rosé. A bright, playful rosé with a bold pink color and a steady stream of lively bubbles. The sparkle is just right—enough to keep things festive, but never overpowering.
Trebbiano
Trebbiano is one of the most widely planted varietals in the world, especially Italy. This Italian white wine exhibits Asian pear, honeydew melon, green apple, pineapple core and passion fruit on the nose. Those same elements can be experienced on the palette along with some good salinity and musk melon. The acidity gives you a refreshing, yet flavorful wine and makes it an ideal wine to pair with spicy Texas cuisine.
Sauvignon Blanc
Looking for your next must have wine? You might just find it in this well balanced wine from our Michael Ros Vineyards. This delightful well balanced wine exhibits pineapple, melon, straw and a hint of green and jalapenõ peppers on the nose. You will discover these same characteristics as you taste it along with clay minerality and Texas red grapefruit.
Envisage
This Merlot-dominant Bordeaux blend is a true delight for any dinner table, crafted in the style of Bordeaux’s famed Right Bank. The nose opens with alluring aromas of black licorice, warm sandalwood, and fresh red fruit. On the palate, a supple medium-plus body carries vibrant flavors of cherry, ripe blueberry, and juicy plum, balanced by a smooth, lingering finish. Elegant yet approachable, it’s a perfect companion for both weeknight meals and special gatherings.
Windswept
This elegant white blend of Texas-grown Viognier (52%) and Roussanne (48%) offers a perfect balance of richness and freshness. Aged partially in new oak, it greets the nose with fragrant notes of honeysuckle, ripe peach, and toasted almond. On the palate, layers of apricot, baked pear, and a touch of vanilla unfold over a supple, medium-bodied texture. The subtle oak influence adds a hint of spice and a creamy finish, making this wine as versatile at the dinner table as it is captivating on its own.
Grenache
Our 2023 Texas High Plains Grenache shines with bright cherry and strawberry layered with a touch of blackberry from Alicante Bouschet. Aged 19 months in Russian oak, it carries subtle spice and cocoa with a smooth, lingering finish. Elegant yet approachable, it’s a true taste of Texas High Plains terroir.
Tempranillo
This Spanish varietal is well known in Texas. Our 2021 Tempranillo is a more restrained and savory expression of Tempranillo - a bit Old World. This vintage opens with aromas of red plum, dried cherry, and sunbaked earth, layered with notes of wild herbs, tobacco leaf, and a distinctive hint of cured meat. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied and structured, emphasizing freshness and balance over weight. Bright red fruit is framed by earthy, herbal tones—think dried thyme and sage—interwoven with hints of leather and savory spice.
Sangiovese Rosé
Our 2024 Sangiovese Rosé delvers a vibrant pink color with bright acidity and medium body. It's Provence style makes this a memorable rosé. Subtle melon, white strawberry, watermelon, grapefruit zest along with undertones of minerality and limestone make this a refreshing wine that will certainly be one of your go-to easy drinking wines
Piazza Rossa
This Super Tuscan–inspired blend brings Old World structure and New World confidence together, rooted firmly in the Texas High Plains. Led by 67% Sangiovese, the wine opens with bright red cherry, dried herbs, and savory earth. Cabernet Sauvignon (22%) contributes depth and structure, while 11% Merlot adds plush texture and roundness. The silky tannins make this wine very approachable. This wine is a medium+ wine with subtle notes of cedar, baking spice, and cocoa that are integrated seamlessly with dark fruits - cherry, blackberry and plum. The long finish is punctuated with a bit of cherry pie filling.
Aglianico
Deep ruby and nearly opaque, this 2022 Texas High Plains Aglianico shows an expressive nose of licorice, forest floor, ripe blueberry, and boysenberry, layered with subtle oak-driven notes of cedar and baking spice. Full-bodied on the palate, it delivers black cherry, dried cranberry, black truffle and dark fruits alongside a distinctive biscotti-like toastiness. Firm, structured tannins and bright acidity provide balance and lift, leading to a long, savory finish. Bright acidity typical of the Texas High Plains lifts the wine, keeping it balanced despite its density. Savory elements—iron, dried herbs, and a faint smoky edge—carry through a long, persistent finish marked by dark fruit, spice, and earthy depth. A powerful yet polished wine with both immediate appeal and excellent aging potential.
